Finals are here, and with them come stress, anxiety, and apprehension. To help combat finals foreboding, PLNU’s Student Success & Wellness and the Office of Strengths and Vocation hosted the fourth annual Paws Awhile study break.
Special Olympics Southern California is holding its annual San Diego Regional Track Meet on Saturday, April 6, in partnership PLNU. More than 150 athletes, 50 coaches and 200 volunteers from San Diego and throughout Southern California are expected to participate in the track meet taking place at PLNU.
Point Loma Nazarene University is pleased to announce the launch of its extended studies department. A new initiative out of PLNU Extended Studies is its innovative Boot Camp Learning Series, which will offer fast-paced, six-hour courses in a variety of professional development and personal enrichment areas.
PLNU alum and chief life sciences officer of San Diego Zoo Global Dr. Robert Wiese speaks tonight at the Silent Spring Series put on by the Center for Ethics in Science & Technology. PLNU is also co-sponsoring the event. The forum, held at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center in San Diego’s Balboa Park, will focus on the ethical dilemma of those seeking to preserve endangered species.
