On Wednesday, Feb. 27, three San Diego musicians/PLNU alums will be a part of PLNU’s beloved Writer’s Symposium by the Sea. Bryan Bangerter of Family Wagon, Katie Reynolds of Katie Leigh and the Infantry, and Joel P. West of The Tree Ring, all known in the San Diego music scene for their stirring lyrics and skilled musicianship, will join Karl Martin, PLNU professor of American studies and pop culture scholar, for the evening conversation about song writing, music, and inspiration. An acoustic jam session will follow. Bryan Bangerter will also host a song-writing workshop that Wednesday, 3-4:30 p.m.
